Introduction
RET has prepared a professional Stata course on data analysis with Stata. Stata is a general-purpose statistical software package created in 1985 by StataCorp. It is used by many businesses and academic institutions around the world. Most of its users work in research, especially in the fields of economics, sociology, political science, biomedicine, and epidemiology. Stata's capabilities include data management, statistical analysis, graphics, simulations, and custom programming. Stata statistical software provides everything you need for data science and inference–data manipulation, exploration, visualization, statistics, reporting, and predictability.
Training Objective
The goal of the workshop is to equip the participants with relevant knowledge and skills to manage and analyze projects data effectively and be able to present findings smartly in project reports (baseline, midterm, monitoring, and end-line reports)
Training Outcomes
After completing this course, participants should be able:
Training Methodology and Approach
The training will be participatory and fully practical oriented (group works and discussions) with very limited lecturing on Power-Point. Participants will be installed with the latest TRIAL version of Stata 16 SE/MP to work in handover practical exercise with trainers
Workshop Organization and duration
The training will be conducted from 16:30 to 19:00 every day live via ZOOM webinar from RET Office in Dar es Salaam
The Training(s) will be facilitated by a highly experienced research expert and consultant from RESEARCH EXPERTS (T) LIMITED, Mr. Andrew Kagwa (0787-348005) who is the founder and Director of the firm. His CV attached here https://tz.linkedin.com/in/andrewrkagwa

INTRODUCTION
The R programming language is used for data analysis, data manipulation, graphics, statistical computing, and statistical analysis. R helps individuals and organizations to analyze data sets beyond basic Excel file analysis. On top of that R is free and open-source, no money is required to have R on your computer.
In this course, participants will learn how to use R programming to explore data from a variety of sources by building inferential models and generating charts, graphs, and other data representations.
Trainers will use visualization techniques to explore new data sets and determine the most appropriate approach. They will describe robust statistical techniques as alternatives when data do not fit assumptions required by the standard approaches.
TRAINING OBJECTIVE
The aim of this workshop is to provide training in understanding the concepts in data science and statistical analysis using the R program.
TRAINING OUTCOME
At the end of the training participants will;
COURSE OUTLINE
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE TRAINING?
R programming skills will benefit the following groups;

Introduction
The course is organized for four days on Data Analysis Using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. This a one of the research software equipped with powerful features to manage data, manipulate, process and analyze data effectively to produce good and organized analytical reports. Reports with findings presented in a smart way will help program managers, M and E officers, and Researchers to make proper decisions concerning the projects. Among the powerful features are panel data analysis, complex customized tables, cross-tabulation analysis, nested tables, one to three ways graphs
